Status Definitions and Eligibility

Permanent correspondents - International media representatives that continuously, at least for one year, report on current events in Serbia;

Temporary correspondents - International media representatives that for a certain period of time report on current events in Serbia;

Special reporters - International media representatives that during a limited period of time report on a particular issue, event, or topic in Serbia and might come to Serbia regardless of whether they are or are not permanent or temporary correspondents reporting for the same media outlet on current events in Serbia.


Only those European media representatives who have (or will get) permanent residence in Serbia, in one of the bordering countries, or in Switzerland, Greece and Austria can receive accreditation as permanent or temporary correspondents from Serbia.

In the case of overseas media, their European correspondents residing in any European country may receive accreditation as permanent or temporary correspondents from Serbia. These restrictions do not apply to special reporters.

Ministry of Culture has full discretion to deny accreditation.
