2009 International Children’s Festival 

 

The Festival is proud to welcome to the United States for the first time a youth performing group from Serbia. From the capital city of Belgrade comes the young Cultural&Folk Art Association Sveti Sava These children, ages 11-15, represent their proud heritage and will delight American audiences with traditional dances accompanied by their own musicians.

The Arts Council of Fairfax County presents the 39th annual International Children’s Festival ­-- the premier international arts education experience in the U.S. -- featuring the exciting young U.S. dance sensation TAP KIDS; young performers from Georgia, Serbia, and Spain; over 400 local artists and performing groups representing a diverse range of art forms, genres, and cultures; interactive arts and education tents and more!
